During this weekend’s nationally televised fights on the Showtime network, St. Louis boxer Devon Alexander stepped into the ring wearing a Lewis Reed t-shirt. Soon after knocking out his opponent in the 7th round, the young southpaw gave shout-outs into the camera to his family, friends, and to the candidate for President of the Board of Aldermen.
The only question that remains is can the Reed team pull off another knock-out victory today?

It’s funny how PubDef is the only blog in America that people expect to be opinion-free.

to anyonymous #2 (12:42pm),
I think Antonio SHOULD have an opinion but his blog isn’t following its’ mission statement see below. You have to understand that when you purport to be an independent blog, a respected non-partisan independent blog, he shouldn’t be voicing his support FOR Reed at every turn he can! Antonio is part of the system he hates. I cannot hate AD French & Associates, I can only hate the game to paraphrase the motto. Shame on you. You are NOT independent! Shame.:
PUB DEF is a non-partisan, independent political blog based in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Our goal is to cast a critical eye on lawmakers, their policies, and those that have influence upon them, and to educate our readers about legislation and the political processes that affect our daily lives.
