VIDEO: Team Reed on E-Day

Posted on 10 March 2007 by Antonio D. French

On Election Day, Aldermanic President candidate Lewis Reed, License Collector Mike McMillan, State Rep. Rodney Hubbard, and Alderman-elect Marlene Davis made their way around the city on an old-fashion trolley, shaking hands from barbershops to gas stations and picking up last-minute votes.

This is an excellent video of the President of the Board of Alderman, the next Mayor of the City of St. Louis, and the next State Senator from the 5th District.

I was with you until you said the next state senator……….Rodney is fighting a losing battle……..2 other blacks and a white candidate, we have seen what happened

I can hear it now “the blacks are taking over” more people will leave the city. Poor Slay

Congratulations to Mr. Reed! He just might make a difference in the City of St. Louis. We need to move forward and realize that without everyone working together we will not accomplish making this a great city. Polarization of the city needs to be stopped!

All Reed and Antonio have done is play the race card effectively. And it’s offensive. as a black woman, it is sad for me to watch race figure so prominently in a race where Reed himself asked his opponent to not use race. With politics like this, we’ll never move past the north/south divide.
