Last week, Governor Matt Blunt and St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay joined to declare Missouri a State of ONE to help raise awareness about global disease and poverty with the ONE Campaign, a non-partisan national program dedicated to the cause.

Global poverty is a worthwhile effort but we have a lot within our inner cities and I don’t see Blunt and Slay smoking a peace pipe for that issue.

Nope, which is one of many reasons why neither will ever get my vote again (not that Blunt ever did) at the ballot box.
