Looks fantastic. Being able to send a link direct to the video is handy, as is viewing the most recent posts on the right hand side without having to scroll down. I’d rather see the pubdef heading at the top of the main page rather than an ad - especially one for Blunt - though I recognize the importance of advertising.

The Blunt ad is through Google. Blunt is not directly advertising with PubDef at this time. Nor is Nixon.

I actually like the old better–it takes much less time to load. The new one, with its video front-and-center, relegates the written word to a sidebar. Videos are nice, but pubdef has traditionally been most about the written word with video there to supplement and support. Unless pubdef is changing that focus, I suggest going back to a more word-centric view, e.g., maybe just consider swapping the content of the main frame and the sidebar.
