Jamala Rogers from the Organization for Black Struggle was the first person to testify at yesterday’s hearing of the House Committee on Slavery Impact.
The committee, which is considering State Rep. T.D. El-Amin’s resolution calling for the State of Missouri to apologize for its role in enslaving blacks, met in the historic Old Courthouse where the historic Dred Scott decision was first heard.

Why didn’t Jamala Rogers of the Organization for Black Struggle testify about the remnants of slavery leading to state black male elected officials asking that Baking Soda be removed off the shelves of stores so that our senior citizens couldn’t bake cookies for Christmas?
Why didn’t Jamala Rogers of the Organization for Black Struggle testify about the remnants of slavery leading to state black male elected officials leaving their wives and children to go off and marry another woman?
Let’s testify with the truth in the Old Courthouse before the spirit of Dred Scott rises up in this MOTHER!

To Anonymous, you obviously have some issues with Rep TD El-Amin–emphasis on YOU. Sista Jamala Rogers was asked to testify on behalf of the bill not as a character reference for El-Amin.
Back like most of the jive-ass cowards in this city, you throw a rock and hide yo hand. THis sista says what she needs to anytime, anywhere.
It sounds like you need to go organize your own trial on the transgressions of TD El-Amin. Don’t expect others to do your dirty work.
