My senator told me a letter on paper in an envelope will get more attention than an e-mail. So I gave him a three page letter, focusing on just why a close look needs to be given to the state board’s unprecedented sponsorship of the charter school at 4300 goodfellow. Later, he talked to me at the place where i worked, said it was a great letter, and that he would hand deliver the copies i printed out for them to Joan Bray and jeff Smith.
We shall see. Perhaps we will learn that outsourcing st. louis education to a for profit operation from Texas is a great idea.
And perhaps my letters will be tossed into the waste basket with no further consideration. I gave it a shot.

The legislators all went back to Jeff. City…I thought it smelled better on my way through Chesterfield.
