If November 2008 is to bring a large wave of Democrats & previously non-active Voters, to make Senator Obama the first President of his heritage. Can that same wave carry the a County Executive to the Governor’s Mansion? St. Louis County’s Charlie Dooley could win statewide in this anti-establishment year against musical chairs crowd. Is Nixon the One? Draft Dooley ‘08.
Dooley would make a much better candidate than Nixon. Good observation about the timeliness of a Dooley candidacy riding the wave of Obama’s popularity.
Nice reference, anonymous, to Richard Nixon’s 1968 campaign slogan!
For more info why Democrats should find someone other than Nixon, click my name and then scroll down to the post entitled “Democrats should rethink guv candidate”.
