Slay is talking to lame duck Blunt to find out if there is a way to appoint a three person committee to decide how St. Louis citizens actually voted.

Why don’t you ever criticize Matt Blunt on this thing? Do you actually like him?? Is he paying you??
There’s no way you can honestly be an Obama supporter and a Matt Blunt supporter.
How about a post about how he ruined Mitt Romney’s chances to win Missouri and how terrible John Hackcrock and Rod Jetton are as “consultants” as John Combest would say.
I’ve been a loyal reader for a long time but you’re really starting come off like a sell out instead of a true “public defender.”

First off, no, I’ve never worked for Matt Blunt or any other Blunt.
Secondly, you’re right about me not covering state government as much as I do local gov’t. There are only so many hours in a day and I’m just one man. But the good news is I am looking for help, kind of a Jefferson City correspondent.
I’ll keep you posted on my search.
