VIDEO: Brock Olivo Dissed on MSNBC
Missouri Congressional candidate and former college football player Brock Olivo got an unexpected — and probably unappreciated — mention on MSNBC tonight.
Here’s the video that started it all:

If Olbermann has picked up on this, it certainly is the best endorsement any Republican can get, and only strengthens conservative credentials. Olivo brings to the table the unique sill set that has reaped success from him and all those around him for so long: exceptional leadership, outstanding hard work, and the ability to create success in all he’s done. Not to mention the ability to span the masses and relate to all through his ability to connect with people, not just to garble off government speak. Remember the scariest nine words by one of the most effective politicians ever: “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” Olivo is the only candidate in this race that that isn’t a career politician entrenched in party politics. He’s the only one to represent the people, and he will show his smarts and ability to lead throughout the course of the next several months. Go ahead, doubt him.
Unappreciated from Olbermann? I doubt it. That is the best endorsement any Conservative could get. We all in the media world know that any entity generating the type of attention from the opposition that Olivo has is scaring the you-know-what out of them. You can bet Mr. Olbermann’s piece will be used by Olivo in a campaign piece - it all but anoints Olivo as the guy to beat!

Ummm, are you serious? You actually think Olivo generated this attention because he is a threat to the opposition? And regardless, you think someone deserves to be “the guy to beat” because a certain person made fun of their public remarks? Wow. I highly doubt Mr. Olivo would want to call attention to his statements in the campaign. (Olivo: “That mean liberal Olbermann made fun of me so you should elect me!” Voter: “Ok, what are the important issues in the campaign?” Olivo: “Ugh, I haven’t gotten that far yet. But look, this Olbermann guy hates me!”) If his campaign actually brings this up, then perhaps Olivo’s statements are represenative of his intellect.
Michelle and Andy saying Olbermann’s criticism means Olivo is a real conservative demostrates the lack of depth in Republican thinking. It is precisely why this country, under the so called conservative leadership, has been driven into an economic hole through war and mismanagement of the economy.
It is going to take years for this country to recover from the disaster of conservatives policies. Keith Olbermann isn’t the problem. Mindless politicians like Olivo are the problem. What does he have to offer? Nothing but his name, that’s it.
Let’s see he’ll be against abortion, that will get the conservative base on his side, but then they are the biggest hypocrites around, because if they really cared about life, they would also be for Universal Health Care to protect children and the families who raise them.
I can go on, you get the idea, I’m sick of the duplicity and the name calling that conservatives propagate under the name of their false god. If clinging to Olbermann is the best they can do it explains why this country needs major changes.
Oh my god, you people are cracking me up. This is one of the hardest working individuals the State of Missouri has ever seen, and he’ll probably be one of the hardest working congressmen this county has ever seen. Please, he has the best platform in this race, R or D, and the best ability to get the job done and appeal to the voters. Not to mention that he’s a household name for all the right reasons. Rumor has it in Missouri that he’s taking the cake at every event he attends…so he must be offering up something to the voters. Guess what - he’s outworking all of them!
Brock is a really honest and hard working individual. Check out this interview with him on http://www.therelevantelephant.com

He obviously hasn’t given much thought to anything. He’s perfect for the Republicans, they can tell him how to think, how to talk and how to vote. Barney for President. Or maybe Cookie Monster would better represent the American People.
