I find it odd that some of our elected officials, namely Rep. Jamila Nashit, who lobbied and voted against the Ballpark tax subsidy, and special-needs educational tax credits would vote for the largest tax subsidy in State’s history ($880 million dollars). HB 2383. Isn’t this tax subsidy/credit potentially coming out of the general revenue funds, hence draining money from public schools. I’m confused. It’s this type of hypocrisy that makes the public lose trust. If Rep. Nashit can answer this, as well as others… please respond!
