He may be right. Not since Nixon has any President managed to alienate both sides. Bush would not win a third term if it were available. I wouldn’t vote for him again, because he did not support conservative values like controlling spending and immigration. Liberals don’t like him for obvious reasons. I couldn’t stand Gephardt when he was in office and I will never forgive him for making the deal to recast the first district to protect himself by giving him part of the City because his base in JeffCo left his liberal doctrine. That moved the district west into Clayton and Ladue sticking us with a Congressman who doesn’t care about anything past the city limits, well maybe U City. He was right about NAFTA. Clinton and the rest who gave us that without protecting good jobs did the country a great disservice.
