Peter Kinder marches in “Call to Oneness”

For a white Republican from Cape Girardeau who has been an outspoken critic of Barack Obama, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder seemed remarkably comfortable at the head of the parade of 20,000 black men through the streets of north St. Louis on Sunday.

Kinder, who just last week attacked Obama as a class bigot, made his way to the front of the “Call to Oneness” march standing next to St. Louis Aldermanic President Lewis Reed, 4th Ward Alderman Sam Moore, and State Rep. Rodney Hubbard. Kinder even had a better spot than St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley and City License Collector Mike McMillan, both of whom were in the second row.

Here is what Kinder said about Obama last week in an editorial entitled “Missourians Reject Obama’s Brand of Radical Liberalism” published on the website HumanEvents.com:

It was not too long ago that Barack Obama, surrounded by radical supporters in San Francisco, claimed that Missourians and other hard-working Americans were clinging to our faith and our 2nd Amendment rights because we are bitter. Is this the kind of class bigotry that Barack Obama will represent? Are we going to see more cases in which wealthy liberals mock the millions of Americans who actually believe in standing by their God and country? There is no other rational answer to these questions than an emphatic “Yes.”

Kinder’s Democratic challenger, State Rep. Sam Page, was also spotted at the “Call to Oneness” march.

In related news… Here’s Kinder’s speech from the Missouri Republican Convention over the weekend in which he called for Republican unity and, of course, took a few shots at Democrats.

What is it with Republicans and San Francisco?

He didn’t bring his buddy Mayor Slay? Should have — Slay could have stood in front of McMillan too.

Gotta give it to Kinder! Come to Da Lou get paid by so called Democrats. Go down south blast the likely nominee and Democrats. Come back up lock arms with so called Democrats and march the streets of Da North Side. DAMN HE GOT A SET!

[...] the way, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder was in the march.  What was he doing being a stuck-out sore thumb?  Handing out reparations [...]

Where is gun violence at it’s highest level? Where have the people McKee has displaced gone? Related or stretching it?

Kinder thinks some Black Democrats are a joke. He buys some Black Democrats with his money and probably calls them disrespectful names down South. Then he thinks he can come in the “HOOD” and march at the front of a call for “oneness” demonstration to stop black on black violence.

This man that “dogged out” Senator Barack Obama gets to march in the front of our “CALL TO ONENESS” with Aldermanic President Lewis “GET ME SOME SECURITY NOW” Reed, Alderman Sam “FORGIVE THEM FOR CALLING US COON” Moore, and State Representative Rodney “I BE REPPIN MY HOOD” Hubbard!

WE HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER, AND STOP LETTING ANYBODY JOIN IN OUR DEMONSTRATIONS FOR POLITICAL GAINS. THANK GOODNESS THAT COUNTY EXECUTIVE CHARLIE DOOLEY, LICENSE COLLECTOR MIKE MCMILLAN, AND ALDERMAN JEFFREY BOYD REFUSED TO MARCH ON THE FRONTLINE WITH PETER KINDER!

Peter Kinder, funded by Eddie Hasan, Eric Vickers and school choice money. How They let him get up at the call to oneness and speak is beyond me. Serious what has he done beside hand out a ‘few’ (and I do mean few) tax credits to a couple black developers. Peter Kinder and Chris Koster have to be the 2 biggest frauds on the political scene today.

Eddie Hasan and Eric Vickers can’t fund any candidate. Eddie can’t even pay his taxes!

this just goes to show you how these black folks sell out our race everytime to cowtog to a racist person like Peter Kinder. Why couldn’t they just say no to his participation? Those black politicians that walked hand in hand with him - Lewis Reed, Sam Moore and Rodney Hubbard are looking for a payoff.

I’m not mad that Peter Kinder marched, but I think he should have fell back a few rows like Chief Mokwa did. That was not the place for him to be in the front so he could try to score a few extra votes

LOL @ Eddie not paying his taxex…that was so non funny…ok it was funny

Kinder should get his quotes right next time. Not only is he telling lies, but he’s telling incredibly STUPID lies. Mayhill Fowler’s out of context remark about Obama’s metaphor regarding stupid white men like Kinder clinging to their guns and some fundamentalist religion that doesn’t begin to resemble Christianity–is quite different from Kinder’s bigoted remark. Time to send Kinder packing along with his buddy Blunt, and Slay. Obama wouldn’t dirty his hands with KKK’ers like Kinder, he’d laugh at their sophomoric attempts to sideline his candidacy. It’s a tribute to the African-American community that they politely and gracefully tolerated Kinder’s neo-nazi stench.
