Johnson’s Appeal Denied
The Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, just issued its decision in the case of Robin Wright-Jones v. Connie L. Johnson, an appeal from the city of St. Louis involving a challenge to the validity of Rep. Johnson’s candidacy for the senate.
In a 3-0 decision, the Eastern District affirmed the trial court’s decision in favor of Rep. Wright-Jones.

It’s obvious that Robin Wright Jones just plays dirty pool. I wasn’t supporting Connie Johnson, but now I’m not supporting Robin Wright Jones either. I don’t know much about either one, but this kind of politics just isn’t right.
Tate is not a liar. He’s actually a very good lawyer and an honorable guy. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for smearing people on blogs. It’s ridiculous.
Re Ms Johnson-Good Riddance
I hope future politicians elected in St. Louis and Missouri actually have the people in mind when they run for office-I still grapple with what did Rep. Johnson do for the people while in elected office; how about a short list from someone who may have this knowledge…….
Sad that Johnson’s legacy will be that she had no job prospects and decided to file for state senate race (that no one really expected her to run) only to be disgraced by getting kicked off the ballot on a technicality. To make matters worse, she is an attorney! Question, did she violate her oath or ethics as an attorney when she obviously deceived her consitituents (and her profession) by lying about her true residential status?
To Steve… how can you say WrightJones played dirty pool? SHE isn’t the one living outside of her district. SHE isn’t the one that lied about anything. However, SHE did bring to the 5th district residents’ attention that a person running for office, Connie Johnson, was living a lie.
I will vote to Wright-Jones because she showed me that she isn’t afraid to fight and to tell the truth. That means she will fight for us. And, I’m a 6th ward resident that will be voting for her.

I can’t believed she actually appealed. Why bring that disaster back up? “I will be vindicated.”I hope Mr.Tate was working pro bono.
