Last night, the members of the 6th Ward and 8th Ward Democratic organizations voted to endorse the opponents of members of their respective organizations. In the 6th, they voted to endorse Rodney Hubbard for state Senate over 6th Ward resident and their 8-year state representative, Robin Wright-Jones.
The 8th Ward organization rejected their committeewoman, Tishaura Jones, twice in the same night, endorsing newcomer Cara Jensen to replace Jones as Committeewoman and April Harris over Jones as the next State Representative.
Other 6th Ward endorsements:
For Attorney General: Margaret Donnelly
For State Treasurer: Andrea Simckes
For State Senate: Rodney Hubbard
For State Representative: Tishaura Jones
For City Treasurer: Larry Williams
Other 8th Ward endorsements:
For Attorney General: Margaret Donnelly
For State Treasurer: Clint Zweifel
For State Senate: Robin Wright-Jones
For State Representative: April Harris
For State Representative: Rob Stelzer
For City Treasurer: Larry Williams

What the hell? What was the final vote tally in the 6th and 8th Ward? Was the election close or was it a blowout? Why do you think this happened Antonio? Give the readers more information.

Good to see that Koster isn’t riding Rodney’s coat tails. After all, donkeys can’t carry elephants.

Senator Jeff Smith was with Koster yesterday at the 8th Ward meeting. They look like close buddies. Maybe Jeff’s “progressive” coattails will be enough to win the city for Koster.

The 8th ward is very committed to saving public education for the kids of the city. Cara Jensen has been highly involved in the effort. Perhaps Ms. Jones is in favor of the continued raping of the system, a la Rex Sinquefeld? I don’t know if that is true, but if it is that could explain the vote.

Interesting to note that only two candidates were endorsed in both wards, Margaret Donnelly and Larry Williams. Margaret didn’t even get a chance to speak at the 8th ward meeting.

Good to know that Rodney’s stature isn’t too closely tied to Jeff’s or Koster’s. Rodney is light years ahead of those posers.

“Perhaps Ms. Jones is in favor of the continued raping of the system, a la Rex Sinquefeld?”
In fact, an elected Wright-Jones would be a heavy blow to Rex Sinquefeld. You have your candidates mixed up.

“Rodney’s stature” that’s funny

Jackson, Rodney is light years ahead of those “posers” Jeff Smith and Chris Koster. It’s because he’s had more practice posing and being an imposter.

“In fact, an elected Wright-Jones would be a heavy blow to Rex Sinquefeld.”
Kind of like how Wright-Jones was a heavy blow to Paul McKee? Oh, wait — she didn’t even return phone calls about the Distressed Areas Land Assemblage Tax Credit Act, ignored progressive activists needing legislative support for amendments and eventually voted for it without once making a public statement.
Rex has nothing to worry about.

“Rex has nothing to worry about.”
You’re probibly right. But on the other side, a State Senator Hubbard would be a great friend to him.
