Antonio D. French is a writer, political consultant, and an elected Democratic Committeeman proudly living on the north side of St. Louis City. He is currently a candidate for Alderman of the 21st Ward.
Hubbard continues to allow himself to be pimped out by McKee. Now his next move is to recruit others with his hip hop status. He wants to appear to align himself with those in STL’s corporate sespool while maintaining street cred. How can anyone support these politicians that sell out their own? RIP Rose Man. Is Hubbard or any of these fake ass brothers going to come out to call people to action to reject this violent climate that we are living in. St Louis needs to wake up and support peace and those who promote it in the political arenas. Not those who want to stand up when a` camera is around. I think Hubbard, El-Amin, Jeff Smith, Koster and all those phony skin/grin politicians should be called to task to end the violence. The church is doing nothing to stop it; which brings me back to pimpin’. As these politicians are being pimped. We too are being pimped. Do you think it’s a mistake that there are more clubs than there are cultural attractions in STL? Do you think that the lack of presence and display of force from the NOI or any community organization is a mistake? Do you think the ST Louis American doing fluff articles about Paul Mckee while the man continues to destroy the near north side is a mistake? Do you think that Lizz Brown/Onion Horton’s disapearance was a goof? Why do you think it’s so easy to get drugs on corners (North,South, and West) that are highly visable to the police without much interference? Why are we being inundated with reports of the flood as if there is no other local to report? Why was there no report of the Iraqi Politician that killed two solidiers with a AK-47 today? Why hasn’t John McCain’s “Love for America” statement been scrutinized as much as Michelle Obama’s “Proud of my country” statement? I will tell you why. This is St Louis. The entire City is being run by certain families residing in South St Louis. The powers that be need to be toppled from the bottom up. Waiting for our clergy is senseless. As long as there are greedy politicians, ministers, community leaders out there those who think they can come into our communities and represent themselves as one of the people, there will be people like Mckee and Sinquefield who will give them the crumbs to “Rep their City” and fool you dumb asses that believe in them. Grassroots can change the City of St Louis.
PREACH!…………….Where is the follow through on “The call to oneness”?

EXTREMELY well said. Although most of the people who run St. Louis are based in the County…
