[Thanks, Jim. I'm incredibly busy right now with running Rodney Hubbard's state senate campaign and also campaigning just about everyday in the 21st Ward for my committeeman's race. Just 39 days till Election Day! After that (and a few days rest), I'll be writing again like I used to. Until then, please enjoy the videos and the occasional article. Thanks. --ADF]
I sure hope I get redistricted out of his district in two years. I have lived in it for eight years and I’ve never seen him once at any event, parade, polling place, grocery store, or Super Jam in the western part of his district. I’ve never received a mailer, calandar, not even a lousy pencil from this guy. Now that he has seniority over Russ, he ought to demand the other half of the City back. Return Clayton, Ladue and Creve Coeur to the Second. Another example of “political royalty”. He ought to be put out to the golden pasture with AB IV, Russ Carnahan, Robin Carnahan, Matt Blunt and that guy from West County who has his wife running to replace him. I am sick of nepotism at the public trough.
flyover is right. Clay is certainly not the brightest bulb in the world, but he’s a lot brighter than Russ, who can’t read, speak or accomplish anything more than sponser a bill about the Cardinals. His sister has a sham marriage only to position herself for a run at a higher office. Blunt at least had the sense to give us a ridiculous reason (I’ve accomplished all my goals) to avoid losing by a landslide. Dump them all!
A white guy from Ladue run in that district? I’d have about as much chance of that as being picked as Barak F. Obama’s VP. I understand I am in a liberal district, however the district was gerrymadered last time to save Dick F. Gephardt because he couldn’t win in JeffCo with his liberal views. So, he took part of the old Clay district in South City, shoving Lacy out here into the County. He doesn’t represent us, doesn’t care about us, never visits us and my point is now that he outranks Russ, he ought to demand to get the rest of the City back and put us back where we were. It would make him safer and let Russ fend for himself in the sticks. Of course, then I’d be in Akin’s district and I can’t stand him, either.
flyover, that’s funny, I got a mailer from Clay almost as soon as I moved in to his district. Maybe his staff is just smart enough to know that some people are lost causes.
Oh, in my case its true, however, he’s not paying for it, the taxpayers are. At least every other district I’ve been in the Congressman would send out some PR crap about all the stuff they’ve done, etc. Never seen it once. I’ve also never seen a Clay yard sign out here. When you rule by birthright, why bother? He could come out here and read it to me in person and I still wouldn’t vote for him. I’m just pointing out he has a big part of the district that he doesn’t care about. Are you the same Adam arguing with the young lad on the Post Platform?
I hope someone comes along one day and truly mops the floor with Lacy Clay because it’s time he gets the boot!

Kind of a dumb thing to assume…..
