I agree it is very funny that a guy who got more money out of Fannie and Freddie (except John Kerry) can stand up and act like he wasn’t complicit. He may not be in the old boys club, but he is in the bad boys club.
He talks about not minding the store…he hasn’t been minding the store for two years. He got to Washington and immediately started running for president. He wants a regulated economy that will turn us into a low growth version of Europe that will lower everyone’s standard of living.
Actually, Obama is only second to Chris Dodd amongst politicians who received the most political contributions from FannieMae and FreddieMac! Technically, Obama has received the most political contributions from these financial institutions because he has only been in the U.S. senate less than four years! I guess we can trust Obama to mind the store for the taxpayers!
