God help us if this woman ever becomes President

Conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, an early Palin fan, wrote on the National Review website that Palin is “clearly out of her league…I watch her interviews with the held breath of an anxious parent, my finger poised over the mute button in case it gets too painful. Unfortunately, it often does. My cringe reflex is exhausted.”

Here is what she means:

I thought “Liberals” didn’t believe in god? ;)

I gotta admit—some of us don’t believe in witches.

What a retard. States do not enter into treaties or anything with other countries. That would be the President with the advise and consent of the Senate.

She has no experience.

“The Constitution gives the Senate the power to approve, by a two-thirds vote, treaties made by the executive branch.

The Senate has rejected relatively few of the hundreds of treaties it has considered in its history. Many others, however, have died in committee or been withdrawn by the president rather than face defeat.

Some presidents have found it helpful to include senators in negotiating treaties in order to help pave the way for later Senate approval.

The requirement for a two-thirds vote ensures that a treaty will need bipartisan support to be approved.

The Senate may also amend a treaty or adopt various changes, which may lead the other nation, or nations, to further negotiate the treaty.

The president may also enter into executive agreements with foreign nations that are not subject to Senate approval.”

Hmmm, Obama, who probably won’t have the political capital to screw things up too badly, or McCain, who would give the Obamaniacs a meltdown like we’ve never seen? It really is a tough choice….

After Obama went to the White House, and took charge of the meeting, effectively smoking out the conservative house members who want to let everybody else do the dirty unpopular work of saving the country from the financial disaster, so they can turn around and grandstand about how they did not have anything to do with it—the way Obama ambushed those house members made him a hero to the entire democratic party and more than a few non crazy assed republicans.

He will have some political capital.

Guess it’s McCain then! ;)

Tippecanoe and Palin, too. I think he will still last 3 more months after his inauguration. Then Palin will rid the white house of witches and we will live happily ever after.

When I saw the headline, I thought you were talking about Hillary. Then I see you are talking about ridding the WH of witches and again, I wonder….

Remember, Obama was busy campaigning and not giving a dang about the mortgage/economic crisis because he knew the democrats had more than enough votes to screw over the taxpayers and secure $150 million for his beloved ACORN! McCain rescued the taxpayers by minimizing the damage already crafted by the Democrats! Go McCain a friend indeed!

Think the Dems are not responsible for the financial mess? Here’s Lacy back in 2004 sticking up for Frank Raines, the guy who ran off with $90 mil

the democratic playbook sends us into turmoil. the “evil” republicans come and clean up the mess. let’s give big-ass mortgages to people who have no way in hell of paying it back… sound stupid? well, it was forced down the throats of banks. they didn’t want to do it. those are a strange little things called FACTS. lefties don’t deal in that currency. here’s obama’s new chant… everybody…

“he’s so smart! and he’s black!”

all i have to say is: rezko, daley/chicago machine, ayers, johnson, raines, rev. wright, fannie/freddie hush money, sweet-talkin’ snake oil salesman.
