On Monday, I appeared on the radio show “Collateral Damage” on KDHX 88.1 FM. Host DJ Wilson and I discussed the upcoming mayoral election and the possible challengers to Francis Slay. Listen here…

Antonio,
I’m sorry I couldn’t listen to the clip, but I couldn’t suffer through the horrible banter of those two clowns. KDHX needs to eliminate “Collateral Damage,” as a casualty of the war on bad radio.

Posted by whoknows | 26. Nov, 2008, 6:50 PMas one of the aforementioned “clowns” on KDHX’s Collateral Damage at 7 p.m. on Mondays, let me apologize to “kdhxneedsnewtalkshows” (is that your real name, or is that just what your friends call you?) for his inability to listen to the show due to my clownishness. let me alert others who aren’t allergic to the show that at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22nd Jeff Rainford will join co-clowns d.j. wilson and fred hessel to discuss/refute some of what PubDef’s impresario, Antonio French, laid out on Nov. 24. Mr. Rainford is the former chief of staff for Mayor Slay and is now his campaing manager. the mayoral primary is in March, so the drum beat has started. where it will lead is too soon to tell.
as for “new talk shows” on KDHX, what did you have in mind?
Posted by dj wilson | 09. Dec, 2008, 3:43 PMTo be a news show helpful to the listener, you should have had both sides presented in the same show. Having them separately doesn’t help flesh out the truth.
Posted by hmmm | 09. Dec, 2008, 5:21 PMWell, since you asked… I would settle for less comedy. Is it a newstalk show or just another witty banter show? Hmmm makes a very good point that an entire month will have gone by before the “counter-point.”
And you did ask…
Posted by TRouble | 12. Dec, 2008, 10:20 AMwell thanks for the input. less comedy, more news. will attempt to do so, provided i can tell the difference.
antonio was not booked to present any “one” side. he is a political consultant and a webmeister, and he offered his opinions. if you listen to the show, and can endure the “horrible” and supposedly comedic “banter” you’ll hear that he didn’t really go off on Slay until the final 7 minutes or so.
so having jeff rainford on was not premeditated as a “counter point.” we had him on as quickly as his schedule allowed, monday, dec. 22nd.
and thanks for listening, however painful it must be….
