Election Night parties you don’t want to miss

We bet you’re wondering where you’re going to spend Election Night. We’ve got the scoop on the best places to watch the results Tuesday night, whether you want to cheer for Obama with Ludacris or chill with the St. Louis Area Libertarians.

Metromix will be hosting an election night party at the Atomic Cowboy (4140 Manchester) from 5-10 p.m., complete with patriotic cabaret performances and drink specials.

The Holden Public Policy Institute at Webster University will celebrate Election Night at the Sunnen Lounge on the Webster campus at 7 p.m. Enjoy free food and several speakers including Russ Carnahan and Benjamin Akande.

The St. Louis City Dems, the Young Democrats of Greater St. Louis and the Obama Strikeforce will be partying at the Khorasshan Room in the Chase Park Plaza at the corner of Lindell Blvd. and Kingshighway. The party starts at 7:30 and ends when Obama wins.

The Jay Nixon for Governor campaign will be cooling their collective jets at The Pageant (6161 Delmar Blvd.) while Kenny Hulshof and Co. will be at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia ( 2200 I-70 Dr. SW).

Head over to The Royale (3132 S. Kingshighway) to watch the results on TVs indoors and out, while enjoying complimentary s’mores and some spiffy swing state cocktails.

The St. Louis Area Libertarians will be at Talayna’s (310 DeBaliviere) from 7 p.m. until “whenever.”

Rapper Ludacris will be previewing his new album and watching the results at Exo Lounge (3146 Locust).
