Absolutely. It is refreshing to see the axe cut both ways. Now let’s see this same approach being held to the property developers and businesses who insist on tax breaks so that a community has the privilege of housing their business, and let’s not forget the oil companies! Private business is exactly that, and the idea that they want to be left alone when all is well but then bailed out when it isn’t is disgusting. The “little people” don’t get bailed out.
Well I’ll say this for Ed “Bunch of Mexicans” Martin-he does know what it’s like to get fired and lose a job!
Antonio, I wouldn’t stay too close to ol’Ed because the boy is going to be doing time soon for his crimes against Missouri taxpayers.
He has some nerve ranting wasting tax dollars while we’re footing his legal bills and paid his six-figure salary a month after he was fired by Andy Blunt.
Great video, Ed. I applaud you for taking a stand that is surely unpopular with many of your wealthy Republican friends. That’s why I always liked you. You’re a true and fair-minded conservative, not one of these pseudo-George W. Bush-conservatives that couldn’t conserve a penny if it was rammed up their butts. Stay true, Ed Martin.
Perhaps some of those “dumb enough” to sign those loans are not as smart and educated as you, Ed. Guess they were not that lucky to be so perceptive, and to be privately educated. Not all of those who lost their jobs and homes deserved it, although you feel certain that they should definitely suffer.
Is this what the Jesuits taught you, Ed Martin? ‘Tis a pity.
Why is this, this, this person who takes the Darwinian “White Man’s Burden” attitude toward black people, spending all of this time and money with the Black press. Is he still tired and sore from the reaming the American gave him. Has he run out of drunken black women to hire. Your sorry ass cannot find salvation here. Ed is a coward and when he could have done something about predatory lending he spent his time asking them for campaign donation. He is classic. He spends his evil time trying to eliminate abortions but hates the children that are born of color. Next time Ed, frisk the person before you engage in one of your unholy diatribes. Regardless, I think God is taking notes on your hypocracy.

Thank you Ed! Bear Stearns knew better and ignored the signs.
