Ed Martin wrote an opinion column for PubDef in 2008, shortly after resigning as Gov. Matt Blunt's chief of staff. He went on to chair the Missouri Republican Party and serve in the Trump Administration as interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and as U.S. Pardon Attorney.
